The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled cut

BB bloo had a quick epiphany flashback of this movie. It looks sick. It reminds me of the Walt Disney and Dali short film hybrid that was completed by other artists. The director, Richard Williams, that did Roger Rabbit spent 25 years making this film. The Thief and the Cobbler, was begun in 1968 and was initially self-funded. As a largely non-verbal feature meant for an adult audience, The Thief was initially dismissed as unmarketable. This verison is a restoration film of Williams work by Garret Gilchrist.

There are also like three other versions of this film, one is Arabian Nights that miramax owns and turned into to a full fledged film with musical numbers and very disney like. Then theres the Princess and the Cobbler.

I have yet to decide which version I want to watch.
